Hi blog!!!! It’s me!!

I’m writing this in Georgia, where my training camp has been for the past week🤭 It really feels like I’ve been here for a month, that’s how much I’m learning and meeting people! I want to give yall a glimpse into my life right now!

Basically every day we have team devos in the morning @7:45! Our squad leaders have been planning something for us to read every morning:) Then we have breakfast and session! At our sessions we usually start with worship, then a speaker comes up and gives a message. They’ve all been so good and I’ve been learning more about God and also myself🥲 Praise God!  Those usually last for 2-3ish hours, it’s sometimes hard to stay awake lol;) Then we have lunch and team prayer! Then usually free time and another session:) After dinner we can do whatever until 10pm. My squad loves worship after dinner and I’m so so happy about that!

So life is pretty crazy!! We’ve also had team building, a market scenario, and hiked Mt. Yonah! I’ve learned how to bucket shower and bucket laundry as well:) It’s been pretty uncomfortable, but it’s the best thing ever!

But…. It’s also been really hard and vulnerable! My grandpa died on the second day of me being here and it has been in the front of my mind. Along with all of the convicting sessions and busyness, that’s a lot to carry. So much grieving, but this has been the perfect place to be:) God has been giving me this verse “Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy” Psalms 126:5. Through the hard emotions there has been joy! It’s amazing to be surrounded by people I love and believers who care about me♥️ Through the pain, God has grown me!

I would love your prayers as I prepare to leave next week for my domestic mission in Adriane, Georgia!

Also for the safety of my team! As we go out, it’s super important that we stay together and are aware of our surroundings:) Prayer works!!

Lastly, I want to pray that there would be unity within our squad! It’s been really good, and I’m already in love with every single person🙃
